We are proud to have produced the Circuit Sweeper for over 10 years. We feel that it is absolutely the best thing out to remediate dirty electricity. Unfortunately in 2007 we started getting some lemons in the plug department. We do not manufacture electronic parts, we manufacture EMF balancers out of other peoples components. We had used this yellow industrial plug for over 10 years and it fit our needs beautifully. When we began the plugs were made in USA, then later moved the manufacture to Mexico. Both were great. Then Yolanda discovered one plug with a cracked housing. We didn't pay much attention, didn't even send it back. One unit out of 1000s purchased was not enough to quibble about. Then the defective plugs started increasing in numbers. Not only did we get defective plugs but more would crack in transit after being reassembled at our location. The situation got embarrassing and unbearable. We examined the packaging of the plugs and found out that, while still being provided by the same US manufacturer, the country of origin was now China.
Finally we had to shut down the manufacture of the Circuit Sweeper® while we researched the remedy. We were fortunate enough to find another plug that fit our needs. It is smaller, it is black, it will comfortably plug in with other appliances in your power strip. If you do not want a big yellow plug to be the focal point of your decor this plug is much more conservative. Also, the housing is made of tempered rubber rather than plastic so it should be practically invulnerable to cracking.
And best of all -- IT HAS BETTER PERFORMANCE!! We find that the rubber is much more compatible than the plastic so the Advanced Circuit Sweeper® will do a better job for you. At this time we can sell the Advanced Circuit Sweeper units to you for the same price as the earlier model AND we will discount the Advanced Circuit Sweepers® $5.00 until December 31, 2008. So you pay a $90 for the Advanced Circuit Sweeper® postpaid to your house.
